1. Agreement
By using SideQuest, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Use of the service
- You must be at least 13 years old or the minimum age in your country to consent to data processing.
- Do not misuse the service (e.g., attempt to hack, disrupt, or abuse other users).
- You are responsible for the content you create and share.
3. Google integrations
- Connecting Gmail or Calendar is optional. We only access the scopes you approve (read‑only unless you enable actions).
- You can disconnect Google at any time from settings; tokens will be revoked and removed.
4. Content and IP
You retain ownership of your content. You grant us a limited license to process it to provide the service. The SideQuest app, branding, and assets remain our intellectual property.
5. Acceptable use
No unlawful, infringing, or harmful content. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
6. Accuracy, academic and professional use
AI outputs can be inaccurate or incomplete (“hallucinations”). SideQuest does not guarantee correctness, completeness, or fitness for any purpose (including academic performance or professional decisions). You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying outputs before use. SideQuest is not responsible for grades, test results, missed deadlines, or decisions made based on app content or insights (including Gmail/Calendar data).
7. Disclaimer
The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee accuracy of AI outputs, user content, or third‑party data.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us (if any) for the service in the 3 months prior to the claim.
9. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new date.
